This Privacy Policy explains how Carlo Smith ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use The Impossible Life app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
Content you provide — your conversations with ATLAS and the board, goals, commitments, logs, scripts, recordings you choose to make, files or photos you upload, and business details you share for coaching.
Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Technical data — basic logs needed to run and secure the Service (such as timestamps and error reports), and simple first-party usage events for pages and features. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use your information

To provide the Service: generating coaching responses, remembering your context, computing your scores, producing your videos, and publishing the content you approve.
To operate your subscription, secure the Service, prevent abuse, and provide support.
To improve the Service using aggregate, de-identified usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing

The Service is AI-powered. Your conversations and content are processed by AI service providers to generate responses, transcriptions, voice audio, and video captions, under agreements that restrict how those providers may use your data. Your private data is kept isolated to your account: one member's data is never shown to another member.

4. Service providers

We use a small set of third-party processors to run the Service, including: Anthropic (AI responses), Deepgram and OpenAI (speech-to-text), ElevenLabs (voice audio), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Railway (hosting), Qdrant (memory storage), Amazon Web Services (video rendering), Telnyx (SMS delivery), and Upload-Post (publishing to social accounts you connect). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

5. Social accounts you connect

If you connect social or business accounts, we use that access only to perform the actions you approve (such as publishing a video you reviewed). You can disconnect at any time.

6. SMS and text messages

If you add your mobile number in the app, you consent to receive text messages from The Impossible Life App / ATLAS at that number — account and service notifications, coaching reminders, and one-to-one conversational messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message or by clearing your number in Settings; reply HELP or email support@theimpossiblelifeapp.com for help. We record your consent (mobile number, timestamp, and the disclosure version shown) and honor opt-outs.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile opt-in information or your phone number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Text messages are delivered through our messaging provider (Telnyx) solely to operate this messaging on our behalf.

7. Data security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, per-member data isolation, and secure credential storage. No system is perfectly secure, but security is a design requirement of the Service, not an afterthought.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself from Settings inside the app — deletion removes your account data from the live Service and cancels billing. Residual copies in encrypted backups age out on a rolling basis.

9. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@theimpossiblelifeapp.com. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.

10. Cookies and local storage

The app uses browser local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Public pages may record simple first-party page-view events.

11. Children

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this Policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date, and where appropriate notify you in the app or by email.
